Our Music School offers a teaching programme which starts from a first approach to the music in the matter of the game for kids and it expands up to an in-depth specialization in the various instruments.
The formative course starts with the “music course for kids” for children from 3 to 5 years old, in which, with the help of the game, the listening education grows and we introduce the ideas of rhythm and melody.
Then follows a “music training course” intended for children from 6 to 7 years old; on this stage the pupil goes up to theory basis and solfeggio and he/she's pointed to a study choice, through the knowledge of various musical instruments.
Our instruments courses, for people of any age and musical level of knowledge, are divided into: “woodwind instruments and percussion courses” oriented mainly to the students insertion into our woodwind and brass orchestra and “guitar and piano courses”.
It is expected a more than enough training level from the student who attends the “Wind instruments courses and percussion courses” and the “Music for ensemble course” with the aim of
band-conducting music theories and the chief conductor role.
Courses start on the 1st October and end on the 31st May. They take place at “Filarmonica Sestrese” premises, Via C. Goldoni 3 Sestri Ponente, Genoa.
At the end of the school year the students will be able to show what they've learnt playing at the final concert.
